Alice Beckwith (b.1989) is a British composer of orchestral, chamber, and vocal music. She has been commissioned by St Endellion Easter Festival, &Piano Music Festival, Endelienta Baroque, and Choir & Organ Magazine amongst others. A versatile composer of concert music, Alice's sound is lyrical and contemporary - her melodic sound firmly rooted in the British Isles - with an emphasis above all upon story-telling.

Alice is a composer on Music Patron, a digital platform connecting composers with music lovers through the traditional concept of patronage.

From Halifax, West Yorkshire, Alice studied at the Junior RNCM before reading Music at Lincoln College, Oxford University; subsequently pursuing further postgraduate studies in Composition.

“Alice was a joy to work with. Keen to collaborate, patient and passionate... it is clear she understands the wider significance to the role a composer can play in our industry today.”

— Rees Webster, Artistic Director Endelienta Ensemble
