Planning ahead - do get in touch to discuss projects or collaborations for 2026-27. I typically plan 6-9 months in advance, but am always open to proposals, especially over a cup of tea! My creative practice includes both commissions and bespoke arrangements, and even if you’re not sure what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch and we can start a conversation.
Love Came Down at Christmas
Alice’s carol Love Came Down at Christmas will be performed in a new arrangement for the St George’s Singers, conducted by Neil Taylor on 6 December 2025.
Five Armitage Songs
On Saturday 3 May 2026, Stuart O’Hara and Marianna Cortesi perform Alice’s Five Armitage Songs - commissioned by the &Piano Festival - settings of Poet Laureate Simon Armitage’s poems the event horizon, Close Season, The Catch, Give, and Mist.
Charles Wood Composers’ Competition 2025 - Final
Alice has been shortlisted for the final of the Charles Wood Composers’ Competition 2025 with her choral setting of Psalm 46: 1-5 & 10, chosen by Festival Patron John Rutter to mark his 80th birthday.

Commissioned by The Green Man Art Gallery to celebrate their 10th Anniversary, A Green Gathering, this commission presented a unique opportunity to combine dramatic vocal writing with composition for mixed ensemble; resulting in a cantata inspired by Angela Carter’s retelling of the Erlking myth: The Golden Thread.
