The Charles Wood Composers’ Competition: Final

Alice is delighted to have been shortlisted for the final of the Charles Wood Composers’ Competition. As one of three shortlisted composers her composition will be performed by the Charles Wood Singers in front of an expert panel, comprising multi-award winning Irish composer Seán Doherty and the Festival’s Artistic Director David Hill.

This year’s text, Psalm 46: 1-5 & 10, has been chosen by Festival Patron John Rutter to mark his 80th birthday.
